"The Emancipation of Mimi Ultra Platinum edition" in Belgian stores tomorrow Apparently, according to Free Record Shop Belgium, the album has been pushed forward and will now be on sale tomorrow (but the stores are closed, remember it's November the 11th.), in a way it's good news , but the Heroes of Mariah street promos are messed up, as Saturday it was the street promo for "Get Your Number" and later the street promo for the Ultra Platinum album.  I'm stressed out and really confused, even more as I had a phone call with Universal Belgium today and they didn't tell me the release date was changed.  Weird, really weird. Awwwwww, poor Tommy.....  Marc signs to new manager Tommy Mottola's management firm has lost Marc Anthony as a client. The Latino crooner, a major money earner, has rehired his brother Bigram Zayas, our spies say. Zayas managed Anthony for many years until Mottola came on the scene. "Marc missed him so much," a source told PAGE SIX, "and he doesn't trust anyone else." The Anthony/Mottola split effectively puts an end to Mottola's dream of managing Anthony's wife, Jennifer Lopez — whose career he helped make when he was head of Sony Music. Heroes of Mariah street promotions I told you yesterday that we needed to go to the city mayor services to ask the autorisation document to make our street promo.  We were a lil' worried 'cause it's not very easy.  Well, we succeeded .  The guy was nice, he asked us all the details and a copy of our promo stuffs and he putted them in the city archives (yes, Mariah will be archieved forever in the Brussels city documents ).  He then printed the documents we need to show to the police if there's a control. Anyway, the "Get Your Number" street promo will take place this Saturday November the 12th. in the afternoon in the city center of Brussels. The "The Emancipation of Mimi" re-issue street promo will take place Saturday November the 19th. in the city center of Brussels too. The secret messages hunt, part 1286223  I said I wouldn't search anymore, but I can't help it, Mariah sweetheart you got me (and I'm not the only one) .  On Extra, they sowed parts of the "Don't Forget About Us" video, we haven't seen , just like the wall (I posted the pics taken by Cori), it seems they cutted parts or..... we will only see the hints and maybe new scenes in the video once we will put our Platinum edition cd/dvd in our pc.  Anyway, here's a cap of the new scene they showed on Extra. Heroes of Mariah street promotion We will do a street promotion for "Get Your Number" and the "The Emancipation of Mimi" re-issue, I'll let you know the dates asap.  If you're a regular visitor of Heroes of Mariah, you know that for the "We Belong Together" street promo we were almost arrested by the police, as it seems they now make strict controls, Kinou and I will go to the city center of Brussels this afternoon, to see what we can do, where? how?  we will try to find something out.  We don't want to be arrested.... or maybe this would be a good publicity if they report it in the news .  The "Get your Number" street promo will probably take place on Saturday November the 12th. and the "The Emancipation of Mimi" one on November the 19th.  Anyway, stay tuned for the dates  and let us already know what dates would be ok for you. Mariah gets award for charity work MariahConnection found out that Mariah went at the Handbag of Hope launch and foundation’s 25th anniversary in New York to accept an award recognizing her lifetime of support to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Heroes note: On April the 22nd.,  I posted that Mariah attended that event which took place at Madame Tussaud in New York but I didn't know it was to receive an award. Mariah Emancipated, Again Will fans buy the same album with four new songs?  Even after Mariah Carey put out The Emancipation of Mimi, which went on to sell 4 million copies and become the second-best-selling album of 2005, she kept going back into the studio. So on November 15th, Carey is putting her album out again with four new tracks -- as did 50 Cent and the Killers, who revamped hot albums and saw them shoot back up the charts. "We came up with a couple of songs that I wanted to put out," says Antonio "LA" Reid, chairman of Carey's label, Island Def Jam. The hints in "Don't Forget About Us" video part 523644  Ok, I said I gave up, but we were still talking about it in family, we were all looking at the video, Kinou, my dad, my grandma and I.  By the way, my grandma now wants a wool sweater like the one Mariah wears in the fire place scene .  We all together saw symbolic stuffs, Mariah seems prisoner in a soccer net,  butterfly prisoner in a net,  why soccer?  Soccer.... goal....reach your goal.  Ok, I stop . We came to a conclusion, the secret messages are not in the video..... yet .  And what if we will only see it when we will put the DVD from the re-issue in our PC .  Wouldn't that be great? Guys, I officially give up with the hints in the "Don't Forget About Us" video until I'll see a clear version of it on a TV screen.  It seems all fans worldwide are busy searching for the hints, I received several e-mails with nice explanations, but none of them make sense, it needs to be something fans will see without taking a magnifying glass, something you can see while watching the video, without pressing pause.  My hint from yesterday was a good one, but Kinou and I were so tired last night that we were ready to read multiple stuffs, including "fire", now I read "lies" .  Mariah said on a wall guys, so one of the hints is on the wall.  Or maybe there's no hint at all and Mariah thought we were bored and gave us something to do . Mariah sweetheart I think I found one of the hints I watched the video over and over, Kinou and I even watched it frame by frame, we found a butterfly behind the goal, we even saw letters, we saw the number 5 on the ball, we saw on some scenes you didn't wear your butterfly ring, we saw something strange on the log in the fireplace, we searched again and again, it was an obssession .  I think there are several hints, but I still need to figure out the one written on the wall.  Well, should I post what's the first hint I found, if you guys don't wanna see it, close your eyes now..... Mariah To Perform In Hawaii In December The radio station Hot 93.9 FM in Honolulu, Hawaii announced today (in correlation with previous reports) that Mariah will come to Hawaii for two concerts on December 10th and 12th. The Don't Forget About Us video premiered on MTV today Mariah looks gorgeous in the video....lots of performances scenes and another hot male model. There is a scene with her in this short black kinds tight dress.....another scene with her on the ground in like white lingerie. There's a scene with her and this guy playing football and rolling around and playing in the net.....there is another scene with them in a pool and a scene by herself in the pool with her hair kinda up....then another scene with both of them in a car. Then there is a scene with her in the car by herself in his winter jacket. So its like almost all scenes there is one with him and then one with her remembering in a sense. During the bridge when shes saying she cant do it like me...the male model is looking at her laughing. The video ends with her in his winter jacket and she looks so cute under the hood. As the cardboard sleeve single is the only one which will be released in Belgium (we don't have maxi-singles anymore or just from a few artists), it seems the tracklist is different from what will be released in other countries. Tracklist: - Get Your Number - Shake It Off Remix featuring Jay-Z and Young Jeezy The single is also available online at Free Record Shop BE. But the site messed up the picture, the one you find in Belgium is the one featured on the picture I posted. It was not Germany, it was Russia This morning, we thought Mariah left New York to go to Germany (see the news below), but it was to go to Russia where Mariah is at the moment, she will be leaving tonight to go back to the United States. "So Lonely" new version B96 played the "So Lonely" version of the Ultra Platinum Edition, it seems the intro was different and right after it Mariah put her verse in it and it seemed it had less Twista on it....then towards the end it seemed as if the beat was slightly different and that Mariah rerecorded the high note part. Mariah in Germany? A flight attendent saw Mariah tuesday at 4:30am at the Newark Airport.  Apparently she flew in on a private plane and was heading over to Germany.  Trey was there too and now talks with a cute British accent too. Merry Christmas re-issue in some US stores now Not all US stores had the Merry Christmas re-issue on sale today, some stores didn't even know it was in their own stock until several fans asked them to check and finally found it.  The DVD side seems interesting. The "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" anniversary mix claymation is cute and another video of the JD remix of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town where the animated Mariah is the same one from the Heartbreaker video. The main menu screen has the CD cover with snow fallin down. When you play the songs off the dvd they each have a different holiday picture to accompany them.  There are some quotes from the bible on the cd sleeve. Cam'ron Shot In Failed Carjacking Attempt Rapper shot once in each arm early Sunday morning Cam'ron is recuperating after being shot early Sunday morning in what appears to be a failed carjacking attempt, according to the rapper's representatives. A spokesperson and a source within the the MC's Diplomats camp have confirmed Cam'ron was shot around 2:10 a.m. Sunday morning (October 23) in Washington, D.C. However, police have refused to release any details or even confirm the shooting as of press time. Cam'ron was driving away from the popular D.C. nightclub H2O in his blue Lamborghini when an unknown number of men tried to carjack him, according to the rapper's camp. They pulled up in their own vehicle and demanded Cam turn over his car. When Cam'ron did not cooperate, they fired multiple shots inside the car, shattering glass and hitting Cam'ron once in each arm, according to his rep. The leader of the Diplomats was taken to a nearby hospital and is said to be resting and doing fine. Cam'ron has generally avoided keeping a team of security guards around him. He can often be spotted in New York by himself or with a few friends, cruising in one of his vehicles, shopping or signing autographs. The rapper was in D.C. participating in the festivities surrounding Howard University's homecoming this weekend. "So Lonely" remix? Last night, I took part to a worldwide online chat where I talked to a lot of DJ's from almost every part of the world.  It was really great!!! Ok, you don't care . While talking, I discretly talked about Mariah lol, suddently a DJ (a big name) talked about "So Lonely" and the remix , I was like, whaaaat?  He then said that Twista's album " The Day After" has been completely remixed by Paul (I was ...hum, oh yeah....), all the DJ's began to talk about Paul's work and how his "Peoples Champ" made it to #1 on Billboard, etc.... they then talked about a lot of other interesting stuff.  We ended the chat at 3am and I was very tired.  Sooo, today, while reading all the notes I took, I quickly found out who was Paul, it was Paul Wall, and yes he made the Screwed and Chopped version of Twista's "The Day After" which will be released early November. To make it short: On Twista's "The Day After (Chopped & Screwed) remixed by rapper/DJ, Paul Wall, there will probably be a remix of "So Lonely" You can already preorder the album on Amazon. Behind the scenes at the world's glitziest fund-raising event Organiser Dylan Jones rubs shoulders with the rich and famous and reveals all  The event I'd spent the last year and a bit planning, Swarovski Fashion Rocks, was finally taking place. Due to the enormous hard work of hundreds of incredibly talented people, and with the help of 12 of the world's most celebrated fashion designers and 14 of the world's biggest pop acts, it was actually, really, spectacularly happening.  After the show, there was an Alain Ducasse dinner for 900 attended by Blondie, Rachel Stevens, Donatella Versace, Vivienne Westwood, Emma Bunton, Simon Fuller, Victoria Beckham, Roberto Cavalli, Jon Bon Jovi and many others. As the Universal boss Lucian Grainge led Mariah Carey through the throng, and the Arcadia chief Philip Green chatted to Prince Albert, it suddenly seemed like we were all swirling around in a modern day Fellini movie, the sweet life accompanied by Moët champagne and Swarovski necklaces. It was a blast. Not only did we raised vital funds for the Prince's Trust, but Swarovski Fashion Rocks was, in the words of one resident: "The most glamorous event Monaco has ever seen." So they played "Shake it Off" and THEN Don' Forget About Us right after that. Then Russ was like "Hey! We got Mariah on the phone! What's up Mariah?!" Her interview was short but good.
